Multichannel outbound — email, LinkedIn, a dialer — not an Apollo kit, and not a Clay table.

The Aiacent take
lemlist is the correct desk when the expensive part is a sequence someone will actually send: email first, then LinkedIn, SMS, a dialer on Multichannel, a deliverability hub that is included, credits you buy when a find succeeds. It is a bad substitute for Apollo when the expensive part is a list-plus-kit this week, and a bad substitute for Clay when the expensive part is a waterfall you will engineer. Mixing those up is how you pay Multichannel at $87 a seat billed yearly and still live in a CSV nobody reviewed.
We score it 7.7 as the multichannel outbound pick — under Apollo on the kit-this-week job, under Clay on the table job, next to them when the leftover job is the send. Is lemlist worth it is the subscription. The outbound stack is the order. Apollo pricing and Clay pricing are the other bills.
Public prices come from lemlist.com/pricing, checked 20 September 2026. Yearly toggle (Save 20%): Email $55 per user per month (monthly card $69); Multichannel $87 (monthly $109). Enterprise is custom. Credits: $10 per 1,000 (1 credit = $0.01); verified email 5 credits; phone 20 credits. Official FAQ: 14-day Multichannel trial, no card; after the trial you keep the account but cannot send new campaigns. Official blog on the same site: Email includes no monthly credits; Multichannel includes 400 credits per user per month. We will not invent an Instantly sticker as a lemlist SKU, or an Impact URL.

lemlist
Best for. Outbound teams who will send sequences this week and may add LinkedIn, SMS, or a dialer.
Skip if. You needed Apollo's list-plus-dialer kit, or Clay's waterfall, or you have not sent 20 emails yourself.

Pros
- Email and Multichannel stickers are public — $55 / $87 billed yearly on the official page
- 14-day Multichannel trial, no card — a real taste, not a demo video
- Credits are pay-per-success and printed: $0.01, 5 for a verified email, 20 for a phone
Cons
- Not Apollo. If the leak is a list plus a dialer this week, you bought a sequencer costume
- Not Clay. If the leak is a waterfall table, credits here will not invent the construction kit
- Email plan credits are a separate purchase. Treating $55 as 'unlimited data' is how the bill becomes the story
Who it's for
- SDR and founder-led desks that will send this week
- Anyone who already rejected Apollo as the only sequencer
- Teams that can name LinkedIn or a dialer, not just 'AI outbound'
Who should skip it
- Anyone whose week is a list-plus-kit (Apollo — is Apollo worth it)
- Anyone whose week is a waterfall table (Clay — is Clay worth it)
- Anyone who has not sent 20 emails themselves (founder stack, outbound stack)
What matters in the product
Email sequences and warmup
The Email plan. Official page: lemwarm included. If you will not send, you bought a logo.
Multichannel extras
LinkedIn, SMS (WhatsApp is an add-on on the page), built-in dialer. You are buying the other channel, not a prettier Email.
Credits
Pay per success. $10 / 1,000. Email plan: buy them. Multichannel: 400/user/mo on lemlist's own credit guide. Do not treat the seat as the data.
Verdict
Buy Email when a sequence is the weekday job and Apollo Free already is the wrong send. Do not buy Multichannel as Apollo or Clay.
