Figma AI

Credits on the file you already design in — Make, not a leftover Magician SKU.

8.0/10Best AI inside the Figma file

The Aiacent take

Figma AI is the assistant we would buy when the work is already a Figma file: a first frame, a rewrite on the canvas, Figma Make from a prompt, an image edit you will still crop. Credits ride the seat. Figma Make is included on Full seats on paid plans — not a second invoice. Mixing that up is how you buy Organization so AI felt included and still paste from ChatGPT into a frame, or hunt a leftover Magician plugin because a 2023 blog said that was Figma AI.

We score it 8.0 as the AI inside the Figma file, under Canva Magic Studio (8.2) for the everyday marketing tile and above Uizard (7.4) for text-to-UI if you do not already live in Figma. Relume (7.6) still wins a sitemap-to-Webflow start. Midjourney still wins a directed still. Lovable still wins a chat-to-URL app.

Public list prices come from figma.com/pricing and Figma's AI-credits help, checked 19 September 2026: Starter free with 150 credits/day up to 500/month; Professional Full $16 per month on the annual toggle we opened, plus 3,000 credits; Dev $12 / Collab $3 on that same annual toggle; Organization Full $55 billed annually plus 3,500 credits; Enterprise Full $90 billed annually plus 4,250 credits. Dev, Collab, and View seats get 500 credits. Extra credits are an admin subscription or pay-as-you-go — Figma does not print a leftover pack sticker on the public pricing page, and we will not invent one. Confirm checkout. We will not invent a Magician SKU or an Impact URL.

Pros

  • The assistant sits on the frame, the library, and Figma Make — not a second canvas you will forget
  • Included credits on every seat are a real taste. Make is on the Full seat, not a peel-off SKU
  • Dev and Collab seats exist so you do not buy Full for a commenter

Cons

  • Seat credits are personal, reset monthly, and do not pool. A quiet designer still burns the allotment
  • Not Canva. A carousel still wants the marketing canvas
  • Magician the plugin is not a 2026 checkout. Diagram folded into Figma AI

Who it's for

  • Product designers whose weekday is already Figma Design
  • Teams that will actually open Figma Make on a Full seat
  • Admins who will watch seat credits before they buy a top-up

Who should skip it

  • Marketers whose file is a tile (Canva — is Canva Pro worth it)
  • People who needed a running web app from a prompt (Lovable — Lovable vs Cursor)
  • Buyers hunting Magician or Galileo as a 2026 subscription

What matters in the product

Figma Make on the Full seat

Prompt toward a working UI, attach a design, publish. Included on Full seats. Dev / Collab can try Make in drafts. Not a chat-to-production app desk — that is Lovable.

Credits on the seat, not a peel-off AI plan

Personal allotment. Resets monthly. Does not roll over. Shared AI features spend the same pool. Extra credits are an admin purchase — confirm in the Admin dashboard.

Magician is not the product

Diagram's Magician plugin is the search people still type. The 2026 seat is Figma AI / Make on a plan you already needed. Do not buy a leftover plugin listing.

Verdict

Buy it as an upgrade to Figma files you already trust. Do not buy Figma because it added AI, and do not buy it as a cheaper Canva.
