Fireflies.ai pricing (2026): Free, Pro, Business — and the credit bill next to the seat
Pro is $10 a seat billed annually, or $18 monthly. Business is $19 / $29. The expensive mistake is paying for an archive when you needed Otter — or treating included credits as unlimited AskFred.

Fireflies.ai
7.8/10Best searchable meeting archive
The searchable meeting archive that will talk to your CRM.
Fireflies is the meeting assistant for teams that will actually search last month. Transcripts, summaries, soundbites, and a CRM write-back. Sales and CS orgs that live in HubSpot recognize it. A founder who needed captions in the room will bounce — that is still Otter. Fireflies alternatives is the buyer-intent version if you are trying not to buy it.
- Best for
- Teams that need to search last quarter's calls and push notes into HubSpot or Salesforce.
- Skip if
- You needed live captions, a bot-free recorder, or Gong-grade coaching.
Why it ranks
- AskFred across the archive is the feature people keep paying for
- CRM and Slack push is a real workflow, not a slide
- Cheaper than Gong when the job is search and recap, not coaching
Watch-outs
- Another bot in the participant list unless you fight it
- Not live captions the way Otter is
- Credit math on 'AI skills' can surprise a team that thought Pro was unlimited everything
Product look
Fireflies.ai
Figure slot. No vendor screenshot until we have a rights-cleared file.
People search 'Fireflies pricing' because they want the $10 number, or because finance asked why a notetaker costs more than a $20 chat tab. Those are different tickets. If you do not name whether you needed last quarter in HubSpot, live captions in the room, or a coaching culture, you will buy Pro as a cheaper Gong and still miss the deal, or stay on Free until the conversation you needed is gone.
This is a cost page, not a feature dump. Public list prices below were checked against Fireflies' billing docs (guide.fireflies.ai) on 19 September 2026 — Pro $10 / $18, Business $19 / $29, Enterprise $39 annual. They change. We do not invent a word-error lab, a storage multiplier, or a partner URL. The full review is /tools/fireflies. Fireflies alternatives is the leave-the-bot guide. Otter alternatives is the sibling if the brand in the meeting is Otter. The transcription ranking is the scored table.
Fireflies AI cost in 2026, at a glance
| Plan | Annual | Monthly | Included AI credits (one-time) | What you are actually buying |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 20 | A taste of the archive. Storage and integrations are the wall |
| Pro | $10/user/mo | $18/user/mo | 20 | The individual / small-team archive-and-CRM seat |
| Business | $19/user/mo | $29/user/mo | 30 | API, analytics, video, private channels — the team product |
| Enterprise | $39/user/mo (annual only) | Not offered month-to-month | 50 | SSO, SCIM, HIPAA, private storage — a security conversation |
- Every admin or member is a billable seat. Sharing a recap link is free. Inviting them to the workspace is not.
- Annual Pro is the $10 figure. Monthly Pro is $18. Do not plan the year on a first-month banner.
- Meeting-bot and Chrome-extension transcription are not monthly-capped the way Otter's free minutes are. API, dialers, and bulk uploads still have rate limits — read the current help article.
- Included AI credits are one-time and shared across the whole team. They do not grow with seats. AskFred on Live Assist, AI Skills, Autofill CRM, Voice Agents, and Magic Soundbites draw from that pool. When it hits zero, paid credit packs start at $5 / 50 credits a month ($4 annual-equivalent).
Stay on Free if you only needed to see whether the bot is tolerable
Free is a taste. Twenty one-time credits, limited storage, limited integrations. Enough to decide if another name on the participant list is a fight your customers will accept. It is not a CRM plan. It is not an archive you will search in March. If the test recap was the whole ticket, leave after the listen. If you already know HubSpot has to get the note, skip Free and start on Pro so you are not rebuilding the workspace on day eight.
Leave Free when CRM write-back, export, or more than a tease of AskFred is the leak. Do not leave Free because a blog said 'AI meetings' and showed a transcript. That meeting is often Otter (live captions) or Fathom (the card was the objection). Fireflies alternatives names those forks.
Buy Pro if you are the person who will search last quarter
Pro is the honest self-serve plan. Ten dollars a seat billed annually, eighteen monthly. Integrations — including HubSpot and Salesforce write-back — start here. Meeting-bot transcription is the product. That is enough for a founder, a CS lead, or a tight sales pair that will actually query the archive.
Pay annually if the habit is already real — you already searched a call twice and you still want Fireflies, not Fathom. Pay monthly if you are proving the bot is not a second participant people hate. Skip Pro if the leak is live captions in the room (Otter), unlimited tape on a $0 card (Fathom), notes that already have to sit on a Notion page, or a coaching culture (Gong). Otter alternatives is the other direction of this page.
- Best for: sales and CS teams that will search the archive and connect the CRM on day one
- Skip if: you needed live captions, a free recorder, wiki-native notes, or deal intelligence
- Honest watch-out: 20 included credits are not 'unlimited AskFred.' Autofill CRM and Live Assist will make you do math — or trip Auto-Upgrade.
Buy Business when API, video, or admin is the job
Business is how Fireflies sells the company. Nineteen dollars a seat billed annually, twenty-nine monthly. API access, analytics, private channels, video recording, the team features Free and Pro tease. You are buying a workspace, not a prettier transcript. The annual seat is the number to forecast. The monthly seat is how you overpay while you 'try it.'
Buy it when several people have to search the same calls, someone will set private channels, or the API is a real integration — not a slide. Do not buy it because Pro felt lonely and a sales deck said 'scale.' Mid-market teams often sign Business and then discover they needed Otter's live captions, or Gong's coaching OS. A better analytics panel will not invent owners on the action-item list.
- Best for: sales and CS teams that already live in Fireflies and need API, video, or admin
- Skip if: you have not used Pro's archive, or the leak is live notes / free tape / coaching
- Honest watch-out: included credits are still 30, shared. Adding seats does not add credits.
Enterprise is a different meeting
Thirty-nine dollars a seat, annual only, in the billing doc we checked. SSO, SCIM, HIPAA, private storage, the security conversation. That is not a darker Business. Do not open it because Pro ran out of credits — buy a credit pack. Do not skip it if legal already killed a consumer bot and you still have to capture. Volume discounts start in their FAQ around 50 seats; we will not invent the curve.
Fireflies cost versus the seats people actually mean
Versus Otter (Pro about $17 a month or $8.33 billed annually): Otter wins live captions in the room. Fireflies wins the archive-and-CRM job. They overlap on 'a bot joined the call.' They do not overlap on the habit that has to stick. Otter pricing is the sibling cost page. The transcription ranking is the scored version.
Versus Fathom (generous free recorder; Premium around $16/user billed annually): Fathom wins when the card was the objection and you needed tape plus a recap. Fireflies wins last quarter in HubSpot. Buying Fireflies Pro because Fathom felt unserious is how you pay for a bot you already had for free.
Versus Gong: there is no honest sticker comparison. Gong is a sales operating system. Fireflies is an archive. Stretching Business into coaching theater is how this page exists.
What we are not pricing
- A word-error-rate lab. We did not run 400-call bake-offs or invent a review count.
- A custom bot-name add-on or a 50-seat volume curve as list price. Those exist; they are not this table.
- A fake Impact or PartnerStack URL. Until a real partner link is set, the CTA goes to fireflies.ai.
- Included credits as unlimited AI skills. Transcription and summaries are the uncapped part. AskFred-on-live and Autofill CRM are not.
Most 'what does Fireflies cost' tickets are a Pro ticket, a Business ticket, or a Fathom free-plan ticket. The pricing page is doing too much work if you have not named the meeting job.— Aiacent pricing, 2026
Verdict
One person who will search last quarter and connect the CRM: Pro, annual if the habit is already real. Several people, API, video, admin: Business. Legal, SSO, HIPAA: take the Enterprise conversation. The card was the fight and you needed tape: do not buy Fireflies — Fathom is the seat. Live captions in the room: Otter. Coaching a sales floor: Gong. Then read Fireflies alternatives if you are trying not to buy it, Otter alternatives if the other brand is in the meeting, and the transcription ranking if you want the scores next to Otter, Fathom, and Notion AI.
