HubSpot pricing (2026): Marketing Hub and Breeze — the plan grid, not a $20 ESP
Starter is $20 a seat. Professional starts at $890 with three seats and a $3,000 onboarding fee. The expensive mistake is treating Marketing Hub as Klaviyo-for-stores — or buying Professional because Breeze wrote a nicer nurture.

HubSpot
8.2/10Best B2B marketing hub
The B2B CRM that added Breeze AI — email as a module, not the product.
HubSpot is not an AI email tool that happens to have a CRM. It is the B2B operating system that added Breeze: content, agents, and a first draft on the contact and the deal. That is why it sits second on the email ranking, ahead of Mailchimp, and why it is a bad Klaviyo alternative for a DTC store.
- Best for
- B2B teams whose marketing email has to sit on the same CRM as the pipeline.
- Skip if
- You are a Shopify brand shopping an ecommerce ESP — that is still Klaviyo.
Why it ranks
- Email, journeys, and reporting on the CRM sales already opens
- Breeze AI drafts, summarizes, and suggests — on records you already trust
- The honest B2B answer when Klaviyo would be the wrong graph
Watch-outs
- You will implement it like a hub, not like a newsletter tool
- Ecommerce lifecycle and SMS still trail Klaviyo
- Easy to buy Marketing Hub because a demo wrote a nicer nurture
Product look
HubSpot
Figure slot. No vendor screenshot until we have a rights-cleared file.
People search 'HubSpot pricing' because they want a number under $50, or because finance asked why a 'free CRM' now invoices Professional, onboarding, and marketing contacts. Those are different tickets. If you do not name whether you needed a B2B send on the same record as the deal, a Shopify lifecycle graph, or a newsletter, you will buy Marketing Hub Professional as Klaviyo-for-stores — or stay on Free until Breeze drafts a nicer nurture and you treat that as a platform.
This is a cost page with the AI features called out, not a hub catalog dump. Public list prices below were checked against hubspot.com/pricing/marketing and HubSpot's product catalog for new customers on 19 September 2026. They change. First-time offers sit next to list. We do not invent a Suite sticker, a typical-contract median, or a partner URL. The full review is /tools/hubspot. HubSpot vs Klaviyo is the two-way. Klaviyo pricing is the store bill. The marketing ranking and the sales ranking are the desks around the hub. Read this one if the fight is Marketing Hub.
HubSpot Marketing Hub cost in 2026, at a glance
| Plan | Public list price | Included (published) | What you are actually buying |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free tools / Free CRM | $0 | A light send, forms, live chat — not a lifecycle OS | A real taste of the record. Not Marketing Hub. |
| Marketing Hub Starter | $20/month per seat (additional Starter seats also $20) | 1,000 marketing contacts included; extra contact bands on the catalog | CTAs, branding off, a per-seat SKU — still not a hub |
| Marketing Hub Professional | Starts at $890/month (3 Core Seats included) | 2,000 marketing contacts; extra Core Seats $50/month; required $3,000 onboarding | The working hub — journeys, personalization, SEO, customer agent |
| Marketing Hub Enterprise | Starts at $3,600/month (5 Core Seats included) | 10,000 marketing contacts; extra Core Seats $75/month; required $7,000 onboarding | Revenue attribution, journeys, A/B — a security-and-scale conversation |
- Treat Professional as a high-hundreds-to-low-thousands monthly hub, not a $20 ESP. The $890 start already includes three Core Seats. The floor is not one seat at $890.
- Onboarding is required on Professional ($3,000) and Enterprise ($7,000) for new customers on the catalog we checked. That is not optional 'if you want training.'
- Marketing contacts scale on top. Non-marketing contacts are free up to a published overall cap. Extra contact-band rates live on the same catalog. We will not paste a 20-row ladder the cart will outdate.
- Sales Hub, Service Hub, Content Hub, Data Hub, and Customer Platform suites are different meetings. This page is Marketing Hub. Do not bury a Service agent in a nurture slide.
- First-time Starter offers sometimes show a lower numeral next to $20. Confirm the live marketing pricing page. We quote list.
Where Breeze actually sits on the invoice
| Breeze / AI surface | Where HubSpot puts it (public) | What that means for the bill |
|---|---|---|
| Breeze Assistant | Built into Core Seats on Starter / Professional / Enterprise — content, record insights, routine tasks on the CRM | You are buying the hub (or the $20 Starter seat), not a cheaper ChatGPT. Empty properties still invent last quarter's ICP. |
| Create an agent / Breeze in a workflow | HubSpot Knowledge: Professional or Enterprise required | Starter will not become an agent desk because the homepage said AI. That is a Professional conversation. |
| Customer agent (Marketing Hub page) | Listed on the public Marketing product page under Professional ('Deploy customer agent') | A service-shaped add-on can still sit next to this. Do not treat a nurture SKU as a resolution meter. |
| AI on forms (spam detection, beta) | Catalog: Professional forms list AI spam detection (Beta) | A feature row. Not a reason to skip the $3,000 onboarding. |
| Free-tier AI theater | Free tools include the light send and chat. Breeze on a Free CRM is not Marketing Hub Professional. | A nicer draft is not a journey. Stay Free until the pipeline is the source of truth. |
Breeze is leverage on records you already trust. It is not a plan. Buying Professional because a demo wrote a prettier nurture is how this category wastes a quarter. The graph is the product. The model is a first draft on the contact and the deal. HubSpot vs Klaviyo already said the same thing about both logos.
Stay on Free if you are proving the record, not a hub
Free CRM is useful, not insulting. Contacts, a light send, forms, live chat. Enough to learn whether sales will even open HubSpot. Not enough to run a B2B lifecycle. Breeze on a thin record will invent last quarter's ICP with more confidence.
Leave Free when marketing email has to know the opportunity stage — and someone will administer the hub. Do not leave Free because a blog said 'HubSpot is $20' and you wanted to look serious. If the leak is abandoned checkout and SMS, that meeting is Klaviyo. Klaviyo pricing is that bill. If the leak is a monthly newsletter, that meeting is Mailchimp. The email ranking says so.
- Best for: a founder or one marketer testing whether the CRM is even the system of record
- Skip if: you already know the send has to sit on the deal, or you are a Shopify brand shopping an ESP
- Honest watch-out: a Free Breeze draft will not become a journey if you just buy more months of folklore
Buy Starter when a per-seat SKU is the job — not Professional as a vibe
Starter is $20 a month per seat. Additional Starter Core Seats are also $20. One thousand marketing contacts included; extra contact bands sit on the catalog. You are buying branding off, CTAs, a real send on the Free CRM. You are not buying journeys, SEO, or an agent desk.
Buy it when a couple of people need the paid marketing layer and the program is still small. Skip it if Professional's journeys are already the job — you will hit the wall and then pay onboarding anyway. Skip it if the graph is Shopify. That is Klaviyo. Skip it if you only needed a newsletter. Mailchimp is allowed.
Buy Professional when the send has to sit on the deal
Professional is the working hub. Starts at $890 a month with three Core Seats, 2,000 marketing contacts, extra seats at $50, a required $3,000 onboarding fee. Personalization, SEO, journeys, the customer-agent row on the Marketing product page, Breeze in workflows. This is the plan most 'we will actually run B2B nurture' tickets should price — not Enterprise as a vibe, and not Starter if the pipeline is the source of truth.
Buy it when sales already opens HubSpot every morning and marketing email has to know the stage. Skip it if you have not survived the Free record. Skip it if the leak is a store list. Skip it if nobody will fill properties. Breeze will happily write a nurture on empty fields. HubSpot vs Klaviyo is the two-way if both logos are already in the deck.
Buy Enterprise when attribution, or five seats, is already the meeting
Enterprise starts at $3,600 a month with five Core Seats, 10,000 marketing contacts, extra seats at $75, a required $7,000 onboarding fee. Billed annually on the catalog. Revenue tracking, journey mapping, A/B tests as the Marketing product page lists them. That is not a darker Professional.
Buy it when several hubs are already the operating system and finance asked for attribution legal will read. Do not buy it because Professional felt lonely. Do not buy a Customer Platform suite because a deck said 'AI CRM' louder. We will not invent a typical contract.
HubSpot vs Klaviyo vs a writing tab, as a bill
Klaviyo, checked the same day on klaviyo.com/pricing: Free is real — 250 active profiles, 500 email sends a month. The first paid email band commonly starts around $20 a month; SMS is a second meter. Klaviyo wins Shopify-class lifecycle. HubSpot wins when the send has to sit on the deal. At 400 profiles, Klaviyo's first paid band is usually cheaper than Marketing Hub Professional. At a 20-person B2B team that already bought HubSpot, adding Klaviyo is the expensive second system. Klaviyo pricing is the profile math. HubSpot vs Klaviyo is the job split.
ChatGPT Plus is $20 and will draft the nurture. Claude Pro is $20 and will push back on a long appeal. Neither replaces Marketing Hub's record. Mixing those bills is how a writing tab ends up on a CRM RFP. The marketing ranking is Klaviyo in a campaign stack. The sales ranking is Gong, Clay, and Apollo if the other desk is outbound — a sane AI sales stack is that ladder. Do not buy Marketing Hub because someone said 'AI sales.'
What we are not pricing
- A deliverability lab or an open-rate bake-off. We did not run 400-send tests or invent a review count.
- Sales Hub, Service Hub, or a Customer Platform suite as if they were Marketing Hub.
- A per-generation Breeze credit sticker we could not stand behind on the public Marketing catalog.
- A fake Impact or PartnerStack URL. Until a real partner link is set, the CTA goes to hubspot.com.
Most 'what does HubSpot cost' tickets are a Starter ticket, a Professional ticket, or a Klaviyo ticket. The pricing page is doing too much work if you have not named whether you needed a hub or a store graph.— Aiacent pricing, 2026
Verdict
Proving the record: Free, then Starter if a couple of people need branding off and a real send. The send has to sit on the deal: Professional, and budget the $3,000 onboarding. Attribution and five seats: Enterprise. A Shopify list that prints money: do not stretch HubSpot — Klaviyo is the seat, then Klaviyo pricing. A newsletter: Mailchimp. Then read HubSpot vs Klaviyo if both logos are in the deck, the marketing ranking if the next seat is a campaign desk, and the sales ranking if the other meeting was outbound and someone said 'AI CRM.'
