HubSpot

The B2B CRM that added Breeze AI — email as a module, not the product.

8.2/10Best B2B marketing hubUpdated September 19, 2026

The Aiacent take

HubSpot is not an AI email tool that happens to have a CRM. It is the B2B operating system that added Breeze: content, agents, and a first draft on the contact and the deal. That is why it sits second on the email ranking, ahead of Mailchimp, and why it is a bad Klaviyo alternative for a DTC store.

Stay if marketing email has to know the opportunity stage. Leave if you needed abandoned checkout, a product catalog, and SMS that prints money. Mailchimp if the program is still a newsletter. Brevo if the objection is price and you are not a HubSpot shop.

Pros

  • Email, journeys, and reporting on the CRM sales already opens
  • Breeze AI drafts, summarizes, and suggests — on records you already trust
  • The honest B2B answer when Klaviyo would be the wrong graph

Cons

  • You will implement it like a hub, not like a newsletter tool
  • Ecommerce lifecycle and SMS still trail Klaviyo
  • Easy to buy Marketing Hub because a demo wrote a nicer nurture

Who it's for

  • B2B SaaS and services teams that already live in HubSpot
  • Marketing ops who refuse a second ESP next to the CRM

Who should skip it

  • Ecommerce brands whose customer graph is Shopify plus Klaviyo
  • Creators who needed a cheaper Mailchimp, not a hub

What matters in the product

Marketing Hub email

Journeys on CRM data. This is the product. A prettier AI subject line will not fix a messy lifecycle.

Breeze

Drafts and agents on records you already have. Empty properties still invent last quarter's ICP.

Verdict

The B2B email seat. Buy Marketing Hub when the pipeline is the source of truth. Do not buy it as Klaviyo-for-stores, and do not buy it because Breeze wrote a nicer nurture.
